Un poco sobre mi

¡Hola!

I am Señorita Amy Chavarría, a middle school teacher. If the title of my website didn't give it away, I teach Español. :)

                             A few things about me:

~I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in English Language Arts and Reading and a minor in Spanish, which basically means I love teaching middle schoolers how to read and write in both English and Español!

~I student taught in general education for English Language Arts and Reading, but have working experience teaching Math (though this subject is not my forte), Reading, and English Language Arts within a special education setting.

~I am TESOL certified and have informally taught English as a second language to adults.

~I have taught Sunday school to elementary age children off and on for the past decade.

~I am bi cultural as my family is from both the USA and Costa Rica.

~I love reading.

~I own three weenie dogs.

~Traveling makes me ridiculously happy.

~I am a foodie.

~Some of my favorite quotes are"Knowledge is power" and "Don't let what you can't do get in the way of what you can do".
